During the minor Sports Nutrition the nutritionist learns to develop, execute, evaluate and adjust (sports) nutrition interventions to improve sports performance of a sports team and individual athletes.

To develop (sports) nutrition interventions students have to analyze the organization, the physiological demands of the sports, the current nutritional intake and the factors that positively and negatively affect nutritional behavior.

Based on this analysis students can select, develop, execute, evaluate and adjust counselling, education and coaching strategies to cause a sustainable change in the nutritional behavior to improve sports performance.

During this exchange course you will benefit from the expertise of lecturers who work or have worked with elite athletes.
